Chef Jackie is an INCREDIBLE local pastry chef who just happens to have a wheat allergy! So, fortunately for the gluten-free community, she has started her own business creating incredibly tasty gluten-free baked good and desserts just for us. Blueberry Financiers, Madeleines, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies, Hazelnut Biscotti, and much, much MORE!

The staff is AWESOME & extremely knowledgeable…management & executive chef VERY helpful and nice…overall, an excellent experience!!!

WHAT TO ORDER (my personal favorites):

• Voclano Nachos!  Very good…and HUGE! Definitely big enough to share with the whole table…and then some! TIP: Order extra melted Queso on the side for dipping the extra chips into!
• Drunken Shrimp Appetizer! Sautéed shrimp with tequila key lime butter, roasted garlic, onions and peppers, with gluten free bread on the side…tasty!
• Cheeseburger in Paradise!!! Their signature burger on an UDI’s Gluten-Free BUN! Comes with french fries cooked in a dedicated fryer!!! YUM!
• Gluten-Free Brownie Sundae! Warm gluten free brownies with heath bar crusted vanilla bean ice cream, macadamia nuts, homemade whipped cream and chocolate sauce…WOW!! Also big enough to share…OMG!!!!! 🙂

MEXICAN GRILL & CANTINA
TONS of gluten-free choices, clearly labeled as such on the menu (in fact, the executive chef’s daughter has Celiac, so he is very aware and has worked very hard to make sure there are lots of yummy choices for you). That being said, however, always be sure to mention that you need to eat GLUTEN FREE to your server (just to avoid any mix-up, since it tends to be a very busy restaurant). HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

• WHAT TO ORDER (my personal favorites):
  Viva Las Fajitas (seasoned skirt steak is my favorite)! Although it doesn’t say it’s gluten-free (because it normally comes with flour tortillas), they can make it gluten free and serve with CORN tortillas. It is SO GOOD…awesome flavor!
• Tableside Guacamole! Ripe avocados, serrano chilies cilantro, onion, tomatoes, fresh squeezed lime, seasoned with sea salt…made to order, just how YOU like it!
• Margaritas! Too many different yummy flavors and styles to list here… 😉
